Classes
Depending on the class I will cover basic tool techniques in spindle work, faceplate work, lathe joinery, copy-turning techniques, the skew chisel and its versatility, beads, coves, plus tips and techniques I use – to mention a few items.
Interactive demonstrations are key, the student needs to be comfortable with the instructor to ask and get questions answered.
Some classes I offer …
A class or getting private instruction from a professional woodturner who can teach is an essential part of learning and advancing in the woodturning art.
All demonstrations are also available in a class format – Most classes are 1 or 2 days but can be divided into several evenings or half days. In addition, I also offer week-long basic, intermediate and advanced woodturning courses. Some advanced courses incorporate hand tool woodworking to make small tables, chairs and other items.
